Description
The 180 hour Basic PDF Texas Prelicense Package covers all the courses required by the Texas Real Estate Commission to take your licensing exam. It's the perfect package for someone who already has some real estate experience and just needs the basics to get started.
Don't shortcut your preparation. If you fail, you'll have to pay to retake the exam. Get the Basic Pre-License Package to avoid all that. It gives you the tools to pass the State Licensing Exam on your first attempt.
Please note, TREC will not accept your certificate of completion for this course unless 3 days have elapsed since the date/time you started the course. Your participation in this course must not exceed 12 hours per day.
Example:
If you started the course on March 2 at 11:00 AM, then the soonest you could take the final exam would be March 4 at 6:00 AM (3 days - 12 hours per day). Please note you are not required to work on the courses 12 hours per day, but this is the maximum amount of time per day.
Starting and completing more than one qualifying course within the same 3 days does not comply with Commission rules. TREC cannot award credit for courses and certificates that are not in compliance.
Please ensure you have met these requirements BEFORE attempting the final exam.

Real Estate mathematics can be very daunting and confusing. However, by beginning with a review of basic math skills and reinforcing what is already known, students will soon learn to apply real estate terminology and specific formulas to problems and tasks common in the real estate industry such as area and volume calculation, the Rectangular Survey System, the Metes and Bounds System, proration, commission rates, and property values. This course will help students develop the skills to complete a review of settlement costs and explain this information to clients.
