About this Course
What is Clean Water Act Training?
This course provides an overview of the Clean Water Act (CWA), including its history, purpose, and scope. You'll learn about water quality standards and the requirements for monitoring, reporting, and recordkeeping.
Then we'll take a closer look at the CWA's pollution control programs, including wastewater treatment, oil spill prevention, concentrated animal feeding operations, industrial and municipal stormwater control, wetlands protection, and more.
Who Should Take Clean Water Act Training?
Anyone responsible for programs that may impact U.S. water systems can benefit from a more thorough understanding of the CWA. This is especially true for environmental professionals and anyone involved in environmental compliance.
This course is an overview. For an in-depth look at operational compliance, see the CWA and Day-to-Day Requirements.
