About this Package

Every 2 years, the South Carolina Real Estate Commission (SCREC) requires you to complete 10 hours of continuing education in order to qualify for active license renewal. For salespersons and brokers (NOT Brokers in Charge), this must include:

  • 4 "core" hours of required curriculum that changes every 24 months
  • 6 hours of SCREC-approved electives

This package fulfills your elective requirements with two 3-hour courses. One explores the process of qualifying buyers and properties for a loan. You'll learn about the practices of underwriters and appraisers. You'll also examine the Truth-in-Lending Act, the Fair Housing Act, loan settlement procedures, and more.

The other course takes a look at community ethics. You'll learn why it's important for real estate professionals, as a community, to use a system of ethics to increase and sustain productivity and quality of life.

Once you've finished each class with a passing score, you'll get a certificate of completion for your records. We'll also report your credits to SCREC.

Note: If you're a Broker in Charge, this package won't fulfill your CE requirements. Please check out our Broker in Charge renewal package, instead.

FAQs

How do I know you're a SCREC-approved course provider?

Our SCREC Provider ID is #04.

Who is exempt from continuing education requirements?

Anyone licensed as a Property Manager, Property Manager in Charge, or Timeshare Salesperson, you aren't subject to SCREC's continuing education requirements. Salesperson, Broker, or Broker-in-Charge licensees who are "inactive" also don't need to take CE until they choose to reactivate.

There are certain other conditions under which you may also be partially or fully exempt from CE requirements. You can find the full list on SCREC's website.

How fast can I get through Continuing Education courses?

SCREC doesn't accept credit for more than 8 hours of coursework a day, so you'll need at least 2 days to complete your required CE.

What is the deadline for completing my continuing education courses?

Licenses expire on June 30th every other year. If you don't finish all your CE before your license expires, you'll only be able to renew your license in "inactive" status.

When do my courses expire?

Your courses will expire one (1) year after you purchase them (the date you submit payment), unless the course itself indicates otherwise.

For more information about course expiration dates, please read our Terms of Use

What if I need a refund for my training course?

If for some reason you are not happy and would like a refund, send us a request within 72 hours of purchase. Here are the eligibility requirements you must meet:

  • Your purchase was made no more than 72 hours prior to your refund request.
  • You have NOT:
    • Attempted any portion of a test or exam.
    • Requested or been issued a certificate of completion.
    • Completed 50% or more of the purchased course.

If you meet all of these criteria, submit your refund request in writing via email to support@360training.com with a proof-of-purchase receipt and an explanation for why you are requesting a refund.

You can find more information about our refund policy here.
